Workshop with focus on Enhanced Weathering

Date: 12th November 2024

Location: Brugge (Belgium) and online (Teams)

Event details:

C-SINK’s second workshop on Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) approaches will focus on the Enhanced Weathering of waste rocks.

This method aims to sequester CO2 from the atmosphere by accelerating the natural process of rock weathering. Through the chemical reactions that occur when rocks are exposed to the atmosphere, CO2 is absorbed, ultimately contributing to a reduction in atmospheric CO2 concentrations.
